What NewHub is

Introduction about NewHub, the problem it solves, and the value for users and the business.

NewHub is the consumption layer for the analytics your company already maintains in Qlik Cloud. The apps, the measures and the permissions stay where they are. What changes is the layer through which people reach them.

The problem

A BI tool is built for the people who build analytics. Its interface exposes spaces, streams, versions, objects and several features because the people who publish need that. The

The outcome is familiar in any organisation that invested in BI. A handful of dashboards concentrate all the usage, the rest are opened once and forgotten, and a good share of the leadership still asks an analyst for the number by message rather than opening the dashboard that answers the same question. The investment is there. But the consumption does not follow.

Value for the people using it

A person signs in with the Qlik credential they already have, reaches the indicator in one click, and builds their own screen from what they follow. Anyone with a question no dashboard answers writes the question and receives the number with the calculation exposed, instead of joining the data team's queue.

Value for the business

Measurable adoption. The portal records what is opened and by whom, along with the questions actually put to the agent. That is the information needed to decide which dashboards to keep, which to revise, and where the investment in analytics is not returning.

No data duplication. The portal does not copy, move or store analytical data. It queries Qlik at the moment of use. There is no second source of truth to reconcile and no new data surface to protect.

Investment preserved. The Qlik licence remains the customer's, and the apps continue to be maintained by your team, in the usual tools. The portal requires no remodelling and no migration.

What the product is not

NewHub is not a BI tool and does not replace Qlik. It does not create apps and does not model data.
